At Predominantly Black Candle Haus, we stand behind the quality of our products. Please review our return guidelines carefully before initiating a request.
RETURN WINDOW
Returns must be initiated within 14 days of confirmed delivery.
Requests submitted outside this window will not be approved.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
To qualify for a return, items must be:

Unused and unopened

In original packaging

In resellable condition

Approved through our return portal prior to shipment
We do not accept returns on:

Burned or used candles

Opened body products (oils, scrubs, soaps, mists, lip gloss, facial oils)

Subscription products

Candle of the Month

Gift cards

RETURNS COSTS
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
We recommend using a trackable shipping service. Predominantly Black Candle Haus is not responsible for lost return shipments.
REFUND OPTION (15% RESTOCKING FEE)
If you choose a refund to your original payment method:
A 15% restocking fee will be deducted from the product total.
This fee covers:

Inspection

Processing
-
Repackaging
-
Payment processing fees
Refunds are issued after the returned item is received and inspected.
Refund processing time: 5–10 business days after approval.
STORE CREDIT BONUS (+10%)
If you choose store credit instead of a refund, you will receive:
✔ 100% of the product value
✔ PLUS an additional 10% bonus credit
Store credit:

Does not incur a restocking fee

Is issued as a digital gift card

Does not expire
We strongly encourage store credit for scent exchanges.
EXCHANGES
Scent perception is subjective.
If you would like a different fragrance, we recommend selecting store credit for a seamless exchange experience.
DAMAGED OR INCORRECT ITEMS
If your order arrives damaged or incorrect:

Contact us within 48 hours of delivery

Include your order number

Provide clear photos of the product and packaging
Approved damage claims will receive a replacement or resolution at no cost.
Claims submitted after 48 hours may not be eligible for replacement.
CANDLE & FRAGRANCE DISCLAIMER
The following are not considered defects:

Wax frosting (natural characteristic of soy–coconut wax)

Slight sweating in warm climates

Vessel or label variation

Natural scent variation

Subjective fragrance preferences
Our products are handcrafted, and slight variation is normal.
RIGHT TO REFUSE
Predominantly Black Candle Haus reserves the right to deny returns that:

Show signs of use

Are missing the original packaging
-
Appear altered or damaged after delivery

Appear abusive or fraudulent
