WHERE WE'VE BEEN
Originating in 2019, A Predominantly Black Candle Haus is a handmade home and body fragrance house located in Los Angeles, California.
Stemming from the in HAUS brand of Predominantly Black (the clothing boutique), the " OG Candle Collection" was the collection that started it all.
SUBTLE, SOLITUDE, and MADNESS were cooked and mixed in Mya's kitchen in LA.
WHERE WE ARE
Owner + Creator + Mother Maker Mya Sinquefield is a self-taught maker. She expands her knowledge with continuous research, reading, and experimentation. Currently enrolled in the Herbal Academy, she's studying perfumery, emulsifiers, and preservatives in skincare, and herbal formulations.
At PB we try our best to focus on the soothing, healing, and guilt-free elements that natural body care and candles can provide while keeping in mind longevity and shelf life expectancy.

WHERE WE WANT TO GO
In the future, in addition to a new warehouse, PB will launch "NOT YOUR AVERAGE MAKER" a non-profit organization that provides free in-class and virtual arts + science classes to kids in developing neighborhoods in the Los Angeles area.
